The relationship between Labosystem-Tecnilabo and IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi of Gruppo San Donato has its roots in the 1990s, when the first laboratories were built. Over the years, the collaboration has intensified, allowing us to provide increasingly advanced and customised technical furniture solutions to meet the needs of the Galeazzi technical office team.
In 2019, the idea of a new headquarters was born and during 2020 our meetings with the hospital technicians intensified, with the aim of defining the specifications of each laboratory and evaluating the possibilities of recovering the existing furnishings. Although most of the original components were no longer in production, the furnishings proved to be in excellent condition. We then developed a detailed graphic design in collaboration with the laboratory managers, solving the challenges related to extraction systems, gas distribution and electricity by integrating the new needs of the group with the recovery of existing furnishings.
With the start of the works in 2022, we participated in site meetings with the various companies involved to better coordinate the activities. In July 2023, after the reassembly of the most recent furnishings in a new laboratory and the distribution of the components, the construction site reached a continuous and coordinated pace, essential to meet the deadlines.
In October 2022, the assembly was completed without interruption. The final result is a series of efficient, ergonomic laboratories that fully comply with current regulations.
Labosystem-Tecnilabo is proud to have contributed to the creation of an innovative space that supports the activities of a reference health center, in a partnership based on trust and a shared vision.
